Plough Barflys 3-3 Clumber

7th April 2013 - Notts Sunday League Premier Premier : kick off 10:50pm

At the scheduled kick off time of 10:30am, Clumber had only 4 players at the Rolls Royce complex - hence the late kick-off.

Barflys had Linby players Michael Banister, Jonty Bradshaw, Tom Coupe, Chaz Niblett, Terry Henshaw in their staring eleven, whilst Clumber's team contained well known local Saturday players Wes Burke, Wael Nazha, Andy Danylyszyn, Cashell Walters and Jarrod Westcarr.

JONTY BRADSHAW opened the scoring on 7, slotting past Everton Richards in the Clumber goal after he was picked out by Tom Coupe.  COUPE added the home teams second five minutes later, tapping home at the second attempt after his first effort hit the post.

WES BURKE dragged the visitors back into the game from the penalty spot on 26, but Barflys restored their two goal cushion when MICHAEL BANISTER side-footed home from 12 yards after Bradshaw had knocked the ball into the box from the right. H-T 3-1

The Clumber no. 5 slotted home with just three minutes of the second half played - then a 30+ yard effort from JOSEPH ONWUGHALY flew over stand in keeper Nicky Marriott's head to make it all square.

Not much else to mention, apart from the fact that their was some very poor "finishing" from both teams - on another day it could have been 6-6 !! F-T 3-3

Attendance - about a dozen or so. Colder than what it looked - the wind had a real chill to it.
