The warm spell was over a bit quickly- it was perishing at Eagle Valley - mind you, it always is!! Arrived slightly early so had a brisk walk around the pitch perimeter - some of the perimeter fencing has seen better days, particularly behind one of the goals. Joined up with Tony Squires to watch the game - apparently Heanor played Scarborough last Saturday - and although the Lions lost the game, it seems a good time was had by all.
6 goals on the night - Arnold bagging on 11 and 22 minutes, with Hallam clawing one back on 38. Hallam got themselves back on level terms with just seconds of the first half remaining. H-T 2-2
The visitors went ahead for the first time in the 50 minute, but a battling performance from the Arnold lads saw them grab a share of the points with just 7 minutes to play. F-T 3-3
